National FFA Week & National Engineering
National FFA Week and National Engineering Week. These pictures
show students at work in Career and Technical Education classes.
Career and Technical Education include: Technology Education,
Agriculture, Family and Consumer Education, and Business. The
pictures also include the new table saw and welders. These machines
were purchased with FFA fundraiser money, Tech. Ed. fundraiser
money and Perkins Grant money.
The Middle School Anti-Bullying Club created "compliment boxes"
for each of the MS classrooms. They've been collecting positive
comments and placing each on the wall in the shape of #kindness.
Check out the picture below.
It's a work in progress that started with a simple classroom
lesson by Andrea North, "Going Viral with Kindness."
We've found students looking through each compliment hoping to
find something nice said about them. Truly wonderful to see that
the positive school climate is reaching those beyond the club, and
into the typical Frederic Middle School experience.
