Freak for Frogs! Family Event Friday, May 22 at 7:15 pm
Live, one-hour amphibian program with Randy Krob at Frederic Elementary school followed by a Night Hike to listen to the frogs! A fun night for the whole family!

TinyTot: 5:30-6pm
4 Sessions for $30
For children ages 2-5. Fun, organized dance and movement. Listening and learning on how to be part of a class are much of the focus and parents are welcome to participate!
New Beginner: 6-6:30 pm
Learn energetic footwork to a variety of styles of music. Appropriate for ages 5yrs and up through adults. 4 sessions for $30
Intermediate Clogging 6:30-7:15 pm
Structured for cloggers who learned the basic footwork. Dance to a variety of music including country, bluegrass, Irish, pop and rock & roll. 4 lessons for $35

Frederic Community Education is committed to providing a wide variety of programs and offerings to the residents of the Frederic School District and neighboring area. We offer educational and enrichment experiences for all ages--infant through senior citizen. We believe learning is a lifelong experience!

Professional certification is not required; passion and enthusiasm are a must!

Boater's Safety
Friday & Saturday, June 19-20
8:00 am - 12:00 noon
Instr: Jeffrey Hahn, Polk Co. Sheriff's Dept.
Fee: $10.00

Instruction emphasizes navigation, laws, ethics, personal safety and the proper use of boats. Boating course requirements: Wisconsin boating safety certification or out of state equivalent certification is required for operators born on or after Jan. 1, 1989. Anyone is eligible to take the class and receive a safety education completion certificate, however, courses are designed at a 5th grade level or up.

ATV Safety
Monday & Tuesday, June 22 & 23

Fee: $10.00

All-terrain vehicle and utility terrain vehicle riding is a growing sport in Wisconsin. Along with the privilege of enjoying the sport comes the responsibility of making sure you are operating these vehicles safely and responsibly. ATV and UTV operators born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 who are at least 12 years old for ATV (and at least 16 years old for UTV) must complete an ATV and UTV safety certification course in order to operate on public ATV/UTV trails and areas in Wisconsin. DNR recreational safety specialists recommend all ATV and UTV operators complete a safety course.
