The Frederic School District is led by a five-member School Board that represents the community’s values and serves the district.
As a School Board We Believe:
-
Our primary responsibility is educating our youth and preparing our children for the future.
- Teachers and staff members must be well-trained, understanding, and encourage good character development in our students.
- In demonstrating and fostering trust in one another by doing our work with integrity, listening to the human side of issues, directing concerns appropriately and allowing the administrative team to lead.
- In arriving at decisions through openly shared ideas and examined facts and in taking responsibility by supporting these decisions both inside and outside the boardroom.
- In exhibiting an attitude of teamwork with all stakeholders.
- In being fair, and honest and open to all ideas, beliefs and opinions.
- In considering the good of the whole community while respecting the individual.
- In personal responsibility for our actions and decisions.
- In being innovative in our continuous efforts to meet the needs of students.
With a consistent vision on what our schools could be if everything were perfect, the School Board will function in a manner that improves student achievement and learning outcomes.
