The Frederic School District provides a variety of services for special needs students:

The full spectrum of special education services are available to students in the Frederic School District. Students in learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, hearing impaired, and speech-language programs receive services in both the elementary and the 6-12 buildings. Students with cognitive disabilities are presently served in the 6-12 building.

Pre-school Screening
Contracted Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy
Emotional/Behavioral Disorders
CESA contracted Services for Low Incidence Vision and Hearing

Referral Information:

Children with suspected disabilities can be referred for an evaluation by contacting the school psychologist (715)327-4221.

PreSchool Screening:

Frederic offers 2 preschool screeenings per year. Early childhood screening is offered in November/December and Kindergarten screening is offered in the spring. For further information please call (715) 327-4221 between 7:30 and 4:00 Monday through Friday.
